East Never Loses was founded by Angie QQ, a queer Taiwanese-American creative based in Los Angeles. Angie first learned to play Mahjong while living in Taiwan, where she spent many nights in Taipei smoking, snacking, and playing Mahjong late into the night. Upon her return to Los Angeles, she began teaching her friends how to play. What began as intimate living room gatherings became the foundation for a series of iconic parties with Mahjong Mistress. Through the joy sparked by Mahjong Mistress, Angie decided to quit her job to pursue Mahjong full-time. East Never Loses is her platform to explore and grow all things Mahjong.
